Blessings to You

I hope the next few days are filled with family and friends...

joy and patience...

long hugs and sweet kisses...

the touch of a gentle hand...

laughter...

love...

I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.

***************************************************************************

For you, my friends, I have to let you know...

this may be my last blog for a bit.

My mother, my friend, has just been diagnosed with a serious illness and I need to be by her side.  Internet access will be the last of my worries...  if I can, I'll write... otherwise, please know that at some point I will return... to the ranch that lets me breathe, the wide open spaces that nurture my soul, the wind and the snow that shift daily this time of year, the dogs and people that cheer me through life's hardest times...

I'll think of you... I hope you won't forget about me.

Go hug your mother.

I will keep you and your mom in my prayers. I lost my mom when I was 18, and my second mom 4 years ago. Take all the time you can to be with her and there for her. Savor every moment. And remember - it isn't the years in your life, but the life in your years!

    Namaste Carol.

Carol, so sorry to hear about your mother. This time of year makes it especially hard. Take good care of her, treasure every moment with her. You will both draw strength from each other. You both are in my prayers. Love hearing from you. You have become a regular part of each day. Go do what you have to do with no regrets.

Carol, what a sad piece of news to receive at Christmas time. On top of everything, you will miss the last days with your precious pups, which I imagine will be hard for you. I will keep both of you in my prayers. It will mean so much for her to have you there. Just remember to take good care of yourself through all of this.

Miss your posts already. I have driven through your country for years on the way from CA to my parents home towns in South Dakota and Minnesota and love your blog. I am 56 and have my Mother nearby, I am thankful for her everyday. All my hopes for your Mother to overcome whatever she needs to. I don't know you, but I am thinking of you.

Carol, I have thought of you often since Christmas and hoped that you are coping with what's before you. I don't know if this will get to you or not but didn't know how else to let you know we are thinking of you. I have been in Riverton since Jan 5. Perry asks how you are doing and thought I should try to make contact. I see that you are still spending a good deal of time in Casper. That's it, I guess, our thoughts of support are with you.
